Reporting from mainland China. As best I can tell, today we bought some gas for $1.84, after converting yuans to dollars and liters to gallons. That's for the cheapest gas, which is 93 octane. I have no idea why. They also have 95 and 98. Come to think of it, maybe those are cetane ratings. They probably have leaded gas over here.

If gas gets any more expensive, I'm going to have to sell my car and start pole vaulting for distance everywhere I go
