With this seasons performance list currently showing 10 guys over the 5.50m barrier, not including athletes that have cleared the mark in previous seasons, it stands to reason that the NCAA meet should shape up to be one heck of a show. Not to mention Barber clearing 5.80m numerous times in the past few weeks. Does anyone know where this current group stands as "the most talented" field in recent years? In case you haven't been able to check out the results, the current contenders for the meet is as follows:
1. Shawn Barber of Akron -- 5.90m
2. Andrew Irwin of Arkansas -- 5.75m
3. Jake Blankenship of Tennessee -- 5.70m
4. Chris Pillow of Rice -- 5.60m
5. Michael Woepse of UCLA -- 5.55m (PB of 5.62m Outdoor 2014)
5. Joey Uhle of Air Force -- 5.55m
