You're perfectly right, I forgot this... the "Decastar", September 20 & 21, 2014... unless that he can run the "24h du Mans" motorcycling, at the same dates...

According to a recent interview :
2 weeks now before running and basic training again,
2 weeks more before jumping.
Just in time to vault with 16 steps at the end of April, I think...

August 30 : Decanations, Angers (FRA) --> I think I'll be over there too
September 13-14 : Continental Cup, Marrakesh (MAR) 

So it's not 14 but 15 events !

Maybe he is showing us all something .... by jump height he is the best ever.... maybe we all should jump ( and compete ) a lot more.
Lavillenie jumps at more meets outdoor than most American Vaulters jump indoor / outdoor combined

"Some good news from my foot.
Very good healing. My heel is still a bit sensitive but it's improving day by day. Back to training is provided during next week, depending on the progression of feelings.
This injury will soon be all behind us !
Renaud."

Good firt "official "session for him : 50 jumps, 4.60 m with 4 steps, 5.35 m with 10 steps.
He said he already did some jumps in his garden last week-end and some other ones on the track last tuesday to be ready for this training session.
