Spring Breaks?

Unread postby opalkak » Thu Mar 11, 2004 2:22 pm

Where's everyone going for spring break? That is if you get one.

I'm personally taking a couple of days and heading to Disneyland, its been about 12 years since I've been. I'm so excited!

I am competing in Auburn with my team. They're going to train in Auburn for the week. My boyfriend lives 2 hours from Auburn, so I think I might stay with him for the week, and while he is teaching during the day, drive up to Athens and work out at UGA.

Then we compete at SEMO. Fun.

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

Actually, Kevin, I'm coming on down Tuscon to see you! Haha. Actually, I'm sure you've heard, our whole field events crew here at Oregon is spending our spring break down there. Coaches want to get us acquainted with the facilities before Pac 10's. So we're going to probably leave on Monday the 22nd and stick around til Sunday. We'll compete the Jim Click shootout on the 27th too. I guess your spring break is starting right about now, so that means you'll be in school when we're in town. You guys will have to show us around a bit. It should be a lot of fun. I can't wait to get some color on this pale white skin of mine!

Disneyland sounds like a blast. If anyone is coming near Disney World (Orlando), let me know. I can show you some great places to go and we have a pretty good place to vault here.
The greatest gift I ever received was the look on a young vaulters' face after setting a PR!

We spent our spring break in Tucson in 99. Abdi Abdirhaman had a bash at his place after the Willie Williams meet. guaranteed good times. Dutoit took me out a couple of nights as well. :yes:
