Seaside Heights, NJ is BACK & So Is The 5th Annual Vertical Adventures Beach Vault!

You've ALL been wondering, so here's the news! This year's Vertical Adventures
Beach Vault will be Bigger, Better & Expanded to 3 Huge Days of Vaulting at the
Jersey Shore! This year's event is August 2-4, in the EXACT spot we've been for the
last 4 years!
That's Right, 3 Days of Vaulting, kicked off on Friday Night, August 2 at 6pm with
the Women's Elite Division. This Competition will feature Prize Money for the Top 3
Women! The Winner will receive $1000, while 2nd & 3rd Place will receive $500 and
$250 respectively! We feel it's important to showcase the Women, as they are quite
often in need of greater financial support to continue their Vaulting!
Also on Friday at 6pm, Runway #2 will feature the Masters Men & Women, who will
Vault alongside the Elite Women, making the Masters Division a featured event at this
year's Vertical Adventures Beach Vault!
Of course, Saturday will once-again be "High School Saturday", featuring several Boys
& Girls Novice Divisions, while also showcasing our Boys & Girls Championship Divisions!
Sunday is for all of you Women/Men College & Open Vaulters! This day starts @ 10am,
to allow those of you travelling to us to get home at a reasonable hour on Sunday!

The response & interest level is high, but many of you are contacting me
wanting to know how & when to register!
You MUST visit my website and click on the links to access the Entry Form
& Event Flyer. You must print it out, fill it out and mail it in ASAP with your
payment!

Remember, the 2013 Vertical Adventures Beach Vault will once-again be

Will there be a limit on starting heights like there has been in the past? And why no elite men's competition?

Hi,
Yes, we will allow vaulters to start at a certain height under their PR.
This requires a level of honesty from the Vaulters and Coaches, so that
we don't take 12 hours to complete the Competition. In past years, we
HAVE had people lie about their PR's to allow a lower starting height &
therefore more jumps. Curiously, many of these same people will then
complain about the length of the competition.
We are showcasing the Women this year, with Prize Money and the
marquee Competition time of 6pm on Friday night. The Women are very
often neglected by Meet Directors, so we've chosen to prioritize them!
Any & All Elite Men are invited to compete in the College & Open Men's
Division on Sunday. Historically, the Elite Men have not supported this
event, due to the lack of Prize Money. As a 16 year veteran of the European
Circuit myself (as a HJer), I've tried to explain to many of the Men that we
are "building" an event and WILL offer Prize Money in the future. Sadly,
many of the top vaulters have created a "chicken & egg" scenario, with
regard to this event. In short, they won't come until there's Prize Money &
there won't be Prize Money until they come!
