Makes no sense Andrew Irwin 5.72 and a Olympic trails qualifier and NCAA Indoor Champion not being on this list.

They don't care much about heights, it's all about head to head competition. The only competitions of note that he performed well in were NCAAi and SECs, and those don't carry much weight by themselves since the fields are only other college athletes. With a NH at the OTs and a DNQ for NCAAs I'm not surprised he didn't make top 10.
He's a bright rising star, I'm sure he has many top 10 rankings ahead of him

Exactly what shaped World Rankings. Mohr and Lewis over Holzdeppe. Though, in this case Rapha gets to look as his shiny Olympic Medal everyday. He jumped high at the right time. His ranking isn't relevant in 2012 as he got the podium stand. Kudos to Steve Lewis for stepping up big time.
3. Malte Mohr (Germany)
4. Steve Lewis (Great Britain)
5. Raphael Holzdeppe (Germany)
