Hi out there,
I am the mother of a freshman pole vault girl. She is currently jumping 9' and weighs about 100 lbs. We are lucky enough to have a fantastic coach at our high school. We live in Georgia and are looking for a summer camp in the southeast that will help give her another look at technique and allow her to push to the next level. She is currently using a 120 pole.
Since this is all new for us, but she is totally in love with the sport and has definite goals for her future. Any ideas from the "pros" would be appreciated!

Appalachian State pole vault camp July 24-27, 2011

This is a great camp with great facilities and coaches. And Boone is a beautiful place to visit in the summer. Usually high temps in the mid to high 70's even in July.

Thanks for the invite to TX! Definitely seems like la great opportunity, but not sure we are ready to go that far this summer. Appalachian State would be driveable, and I see something called Vault Assault in SC. Also, she had a teammate who went to Duke a few years ago. Does anyone know about these programs and the coaches who will be there this summer?
