I believe that list is missing David Pike from Ashland...he jumped 5.50 indoors while at the Air Force Academy in '95.

His brother had one of the most awesome crashes I've ever witnessed in person at a meet at KU...maybe second only to Scotten's landing in the stands at NCAAs a few years back.

I met pike once in Wichita I didn't know he was from Kansas. I wish they would count my street vault pr but I agree in all actuality it is an exhibition.

I thought I'd remembered correctly.

His brother's crash...it was at KU back in the day when they had that old concrete hard Astroturf on the football field. It'd rained all day so the runway and field were slick. He comes down the runway and drops a Besmer...he has his feet in the box with a 490 at nearly a full 360 bend...and he gets shot out on the Astroturf and literally slides 30-40 yards on his back...he stops, sits up, signals and yells "SAFE!"
