Updates on Mondo Duplantis and siblings

Update on Mondo .Yesterday at a meet at LSU Mondo cleared 11'-6" and then 12'-0".This is 2 feet over his age .Only Jacob Davis 17-6 at 15 years old has done better. Mondo's attempts at 12' -6.5" were close. Mondo makes 11 in Nov. Stay toned.

Andreas won the Great Southwest Meet at 16'6"yesterday. the whole gang plan to be vaulting in sweden this summer.

Update on Mondo and Johanna. They both jumped today june 12,2010 at the Mardi Gras meet at Rummel High in Metairie,La.10 year old Mondo cleared 12'1"and 12'7" .The alltime age best before this was Jacob Davis jumping 17'6" at age 15 .Mondo always called this the record of records.This also broke the 10,11, and 12 year old age world records.7 year old Johanna did well herself,she cleared 6'0" and 6'6" both age world records.

it was an extreme pleasure duppawpaw to meet and see your family and see you enjoying pole vaulting the way you do..

Mondo was "bringing it" better than any of our (USA) world class jumpers... maybe the vault community will take note and pull their "drawers" up and start to jump some world class jumps...

Mondo shows what can be done if you let an athlete set his own limits and give them opportinity and a little direction...

Mondo is amazing!

From what I can see ... he's using a very good basic Petrov Model technique.

12-7 ... and in BARE FEET!

Who here on PVP has ever vaulted 12-7 in bare feet? I'll bet not many of you! I sure haven't.

Greg is saving a ton of money on track shoes right now, but very soon Mondo will be able to wear whatever brand of spikes he wants ... for FREE!
