May 1st PV competition

Indiana State will be hosting the Pacesetter Sports Invitational on May 1st, 2010. We are looking for both Male (5.30m) and Female (4.25m) elite vaulters for this meet. ISU has a 145' raised runway that we will use. The competition will be moved indoor if needed. If you are interested please e-mail Coach Martin jeffrey.martin@indstate.edu

Pacesetter Sports Invitational

Terre Haute, Indiana

Competing Teams: In 2009, we had twenty universities and colleges represented in the meet.

Scoring: The meet will not be scored. Unattached and open athletes may enter the meet at the meet director’s discretion. Please contact Coach McNichols or Coach Gartland before entering.

Entry Procedure: All entries will be handled by Direct Athletics. Please visit directathletics.com

Entry Fee: $100.00 per team.

Entry/Declaration Deadline: Entries/declarations closed Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at noon.

Facilities: The meet will be held at Indiana State’s Marks Field. The eight lane track was resurfaced in the summer of 2008. The facility has hosted Missouri Valley Conference Championships in 1993, 1996, 2001 and 2009.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top three places in each individual and relay event.
The awards are being donated by Pacesetter Sports, Terre Haute, Indiana.

Results: Meet results will be posted during the meet. Complete sets of results will be available at the finish line shortly after the completion of the last event. They will also be posted on our web site. If you have any other results/media concerns, please contact our Track and Field SID, Kevin Jenison, at 812-237-4073.

Training Facilities: Trainers and training facilities will be available to all teams. Our trainers will staff the meet both days. If you have special needs, please contact Josh True, ATC, LAT, at 812-237-4496.

Weigh In Schedule: Weigh in will begin at 7:30 a.m. All implements may be brought to the white shed in the northeast corner of the track at this time. Weigh ins will conclude for each event at the following times:
Women’s HT and Men’s SP: 8:20 a.m.
Men’s HT and Women’s SP: 9:30 a.m.
Men’s and Women’s DT: 11:00 a.m.
Men’s and Women’s JT: 1:00 p.m.
