Poles in Boston?

Unread postby Bubba PV » Sat Mar 20, 2010 12:50 pm

Hey Guys. I've shipped my poles aready and started second guessing that I may need to warm up on a smaller pole since I haven't touched anything in five weeks. I dont want to blow up my bicep or hamstrings in warm up. The smallest I shipped is my little 1470. So Gus, Bob B, Kirk - anybody got big 4m poles (14.0-15.0) or 4.30s (17.0 to 18.0)? If not I will make do but I appreciate the thoughts. Bubba

PS - I should note that I jump in the 3:30 group.

I think my old 4ms are about the same as my small 4.30m. Kris said if it feels too stiff I should just move back a stride to 55' from 44'. The problem with any smaller 4m pole (1375-80) is that I have to run from 33' to keep from blowing through. Thanks Bob and see you soon. Bubba

Thanks Kirk. That may just hit the spot for a few jumps. I appreciate it. My poles should be there tomorrow or Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing you.

BTW - you are a rarity in that you have a world championship but not a national championship. Let's fix that on Saturday! I just want to survive it and stop but as always, I'm pulling for you! Bubba
