Well, I've been to 2 training sessions at Higher Flyers down in Huntington Beach and I'm loving it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sore as hell after the first session but what a blast. Can't wait until I'm bending the pole.

Just to piggyback on this thread -- does anyone know a good place to learn in the Washington DC area?

HIP Athletics (http://www.hipathletics.com/) had open sessions and now uses a facility is Elkton, MD (http://www.aasportsacademy.com/) Tues and Thurs evening. It is a hike from DC, but also the closest I have found to Baltimore since moving here.
I have emailed Chris the coach at pvcoach1 at gmail who has been very responsive and plan on heading up there this Tuesday.
