who do you guys think the best pv coach is??????

Sure, the greatness is rolling here at Bell Atheltics. But great athletes, sure we have them now. But look at the OG's, Chad Harting, and Jeff Hartwig, who are both over 30 now, and both went to college here. Neither one of them jumped 5.50m in college but they both went on to jump over 5.80. These guys, if I am not mistaken were both around 5.40, maybe some change, out of college.
Earl has some great athletes here, but the big jumps you see here are a direct result of Earl. Not unbeliveable jumpers who just showed up with big jumps. None of the 5.80 guys here came with a 5.80 Pr.
Earl coaches everyone, of every skill level. We have something like 22 local jumpers. from 9ft- to nearly20ft, and just about every stop in between. With this many people, all dedicated to jumping higher, Earl has put together what may be the greatest "pole vault community". If I have a PV question there is always someone to answer. If Earl has an emergency, there is always someone to coach, take your pick, there is greatness and knowledge everywhere you turn here.

Yeah, Stephanie is here.
She came to the right place. As I am sure you know Earl is working with her, and I think she is on the right track. She is fitting in rather well, and we all enjoy having her here.

Thanks Dub. She seems to be fitting in well with Earl and everybody and appears to enjoy Jonesboro and all her new/old team members.
Now if we can just keep her new apartment from turning into Party Central like in Fresno!!!
(She used to always blame it on the undergrad team members who roomed with her, but Coach Fraley always blamed everything on her 'cuz she was an Asst. Coach.)
We're hoping for big things (15+!) from her this year.

My daughter, Stephanie Maugham. She was at UC-Fresno for a year training under Coach Fraley, but has recently moved X-country to train under Earl Bell and is living in Jonesboro and attending/teaching at AR State.
That's her in my avatar skying over 14'1" at Skyjumpers last year in Atascadero.

For those who might not know her, she was the NAPVA champion again this past season and is a graduate of URI. She also won this year's Wrightsville Beach Vault.

Will do. At least if she tells ME anything!
I didn't know they had a practice meet at the gym yesterday until Brad mentioned it in a post today. I mainly hear from her when her Exploder breaks down or the rent is due.
Good luck this coming season to all you wonderful kids!
That's my baby girl!!
