Is Vaulting in a cave considered an indoor or outdoor event?

We're about to find out. Anyone know of any events that were held in a Cave / Salt mine environment?

Would anyone want to?

I am guessing indoors. I will ask on the Track & Field News site :)

Sounds pretty cool.

Quinon jumped 5.80m in a mine in France. At the same time he held the WR at I think 5.82m above ground.
