When you are driving on the highway under an overpass and you see clearence heights for trucks and you think to yourself "I can jump over that" or "I wish I could clear that"...

 I've been doing that for decades ... I just can't stop myself from thinking about PV whenever I see one of those signs ... they're all in the 4-5m range (or the equivalent Imperial lengths in the US). But don't forget that if you vault the "clearance" height, you'll smack into the overpass! Duh! ;)

Haha, as soon as I read about that once, I started thinking about that whenever I went under one...xD

Been doing that for a while too... I want one of those signs for my room so that I can sign my name on it or something like that!

If you have ever had that dream. (True pole vaulters know what I mean.) You are at the meet but can't find your poles. You have your poles but can't get to the meet. The runway has stair steps. You are on the runway and suddenly realize you are not wearing clothes. It's an indoor meet and the bar is on 18' but the roof is only 19' high. Or any variation on that theme.

I've had one of these dreams.

Mine was that i finally, somehow managed to be vaulting for a University of Oregon tryout (my true dream in real life) But I had to vault on this runway that was entirely uphill, and a super steep grade... i kept embarassing myself in front of all these recruiters, it was awful.
suck it up.
