Hey there smart folks out there,
Got a quick technical set-up question for ya.
When zeroing out the standards/rails, is the zero mark aligned with the back top of the box or the back bottom of the box and the vertical plane up from that point? I know its only about and inch or so difference between the two, but I want to get it right and I have not seen anything specific on this measurement.
Please advise.Thanx.

Re: Zero out the standards
AVC Coach has it correct - top of the box. And while we are on this subject. A suggestion, that would be a great help to everyone, along this line. If it has not already been done at the place (school or club) you vault, take a few minutes when the pits are not at the box and draw a permanent zero line all the way out past the location of the standards. Do this with a string line, or better yet a laser line. This would be a great help to the officials when then come to work at your place as they can get an exact zero mark to start from. OK just my .02
