All-Time Collegiate List
All-Time Collegiate List
Does anyone know if an all-time collegiate performance list exists?

If there were enough paper to get to the moon and back you could probably get deep enough in the list to see my name . . . .

A few years ago I got an email from a European statistician who congratulated me on being tied as the 1111st vaulter in history.

I found that series of lists rather difficult to navigate.
This is probably the one you're looking for: http://trackandfieldnews.com/archive/ncaa_book/2002/mNCAAjumps.pdf
It has the results of every NCAA Div I Final for every jumping event from 1921-2001!
The reason I remembered seeing this is because I noticed that a fellow pole vaulter from back in my day - Paul Heglar - made a splash at the Summit, not only as the Airport Pole Transportation Rep for the Summit, but also as a Masters participant! He placed in the 1970 NCAA Div I Final ... and he keeps on ticking!
Nice comeback, Paul!
Kirk
EDIT: Inserted "Div I" in the names of the meets to clarify that Div II and III meet results aren't listed in this link.

Re: All-Time Collegiate List
The link lists the results of the NCAA Div I Outdoor T&F MEETS only.
I don't know the qualifying rules that might (or might not) allow a Div II or III ATHLETE to enter a Div I competition, but if that's possible, and if they do compete in the NCAA Div I Final, then they'll be listed in the meet results on the link.
There may have been better performances by a Div II or III vaulter than the best Div I vaulter in a few odd years. Unless that athlete set their mark in the NCAA Div I Outdoor Championships, they won't be listed.

I believe the DII and DIII champions used to be able to compete in the DI meet, however that was a long time ago, and is no longer the case. I think it ended sometime in the mid to late '80s.
