DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY
OK.. I HAVE HEARD THAT POLE VAULTING IS THE "THIRD" MOST DIFFICULT SPORTING EVENT OR ATHLETIC EVENT TO DO. ANYONE HEAR THIS AND IF SO WHAT ARE THE FIRST TWO OR THE NEXT 10????????????????????????????????

Hitting a major league fastball (well) is #1, and I think that NASCAR is #2. I think there's another thread on this somewhere already, you might just have to dig a little. And I'm sure that there are a ton of lists online like this.

On ESPN's list of 60 most difficult sports, pole vault was 16.
