The DVD is tied to the BTB2 book. They are presented by the same coach as the co-author of the book (Australian National Coach - Alan Launder) and reference each other, so it's a package deal. It's also a package price. Highly recommended!

... So there would be people that weren't even curious, they just didn't want to run, and we couldn't do anything about it. They no heighted at every meet, rarely showed up to practice, etc.

... I just want to make sure that all these kids are joining because they want to be good, not because they want to avoid running and get an easy A.

Still not sure how someone can NH, not show up to practice, and still get an A. Also not sure how extra-curricular sports give you "an easy A"?

Well, its not extracurricular. Freshman and sophomores are required to take two trimesters of gym. So they join track. They don't run, don't try, but if they make attendance then they get the A. Our school is pretty f'd up.

Yeah, although some people actually go to track when they get cut from other sports. I'd like to see us dump off people onto gym. We had like 200 people on our track team this year.
