Monte Carlo - Isinbayeva 5.04 World Record!

Lena doesn't have a particularly good record when she goes up 20+ cm at a time, so I'm hoping she'll take some intermediate height before shooting for 5.04. (or 5.05 if she was serious about not getting along with even numbers ).

Okay... a miss at 4.93. I still think it's a good idea.

Hopefully the pictures aren't as bad on the wcsn feed, or they can at least anticipate the pictures...I must say the director on the Eurosport feed is killing everyone--showed the 800 run earlier in the middle of the steeple!

Yelena ISINBAEVA (RUS)

The record (5.04m) just happened. Monaco is my hometown and it's my first competition since I've been here. It motivates me. I'm in a good shape, I just need to keep my condition until the Olympic Games. I wanted to improve my personnal best and that's what I did. I see this world record first as a personal one.

BTW patch... if you go back and edit your first post, you can update the title of the thread.

Yes! She did it! She shaked bar by breast, but bar didn`t fall.

Sometimes tv-showing was awful. Director was low-quality, and organizators had not enough cameras.
