Spring Weather?

Unread postby slowest5.50 » Wed Apr 30, 2008 7:15 am

Anybody else struggling to get things done in this crappy weather  ? Here in Indiana this spring we are having 40 degree weather and crazy winds! It seems like everyday there is a track meet, it rains or is freezing. I feel bad trying to motivate the guys to hang in there and stay positive when each day the elements are against them.

Come on Summer Get Here! :D

Even in Oklahoma it has been cold or very windy. Mostly cross-winds at that.

Horrible spring! 5 meets conditions all bad 2 or 3 cancelled. Haven't practiced outdoor with a full approach yet.

Our April has been annoying. Most meets have been in the 40s and drizzly. 3 weekends ago it almost hit 80, the next weekend it snowed 4", and then last weekend it was in the 60s and sunny.

Usually we just have a constant diet of 40s and drizzly :P

Out in California it goes from hot to Santa Anas with crappy headwinds to freezing! I hope the weather clears up for the meets today and tomorrow!
It's making me grumpy

In San Francisco it's pretty moderate, with not too much wind on most days. Heat is never a problem here.

Man you should be happy with 68. For us out in Illinois, that's perfect. For almost all of the Saturday invites, it has rained and was in the 50's. Occasionally we have a sunny meet, and we are yet to break 60 on those days.

I was kinda kidding with that. It's never bad here in California, haha
