I got a few vaulters that will go to Jr. Nationals.. Nike is still a great meet to go to Jason you have to do what works for you :D besides you never know if you never try and you don't want to say 20 years later or so what if I went to Jr. Nationals.

To clarify the situation with Jason: We have 3 vaulters, including Jason, that are using the same poles. All three have qualified for NON, but only Jason has qualified for Jr.'s so far. I also have at least 2, possibly 3 girls that have qualified for NON and only one that has qualified for Jr.'s. Nike Outdoors has been a fun trip for us the past three years and we're able to take more kids, reducing the total cost of travel. That, with the difference in numbers we can take, makes this decision a "no brainer".

:crying:
just kidding.

I can see clearly what i think is best for the club. And its more important to me to see our TEAM do well than just me, thats the way its always been and should be. This started as me just wanting to see who was going where, and i dont want people thinking im on the ropes. Im going wherever my club goes. Unless im ranked top 2 for junior nats by the time it rolls around, it IS a no brainer.

Hey Jason, just get on bigger poles by this summer and it won't be so much of an issue ;)

I take it that 5.00m is qualification for Jr. Nationals? How about NON?

Haha sorry i knew that. I actually missed the whole second part of your post that the qualifying standard for NON is 4.60. I only caught the 5m for USATF part.

They may have adjusted it this year. In my opinion, thats a big mistake. With the number of vaulters going to USATF's they are not going to get a big field of vaulters this year.
