I put all my money on IstvÃ¡n Bagyula..... he is about 37 now, so not way too old to make a come back, he won 3 ncaa outdoor championships, and his last big meet was about 9 years ago.

the wonders you can find with wikipedia....

I'm guessing if he's any Texas guy it will be Texas Relays. Then I would go to Modesto. This assures two big meets with great winds for vaulters. Bubba

to bad texas relays isn't in to letting open vaulters in. Thats one of the best meets in the USA

That's a good meet too. You're right - that would be a lower profile coming out party with good conditions. It's pretty cool that all of this interest has been generated no matter who it turns out to be.

I jumped at his (Kris') new indoor place last Friday. WOW!! Lots of space. It's got a throwing ring, long jump set up, weights, bunks, etc. He's got the old UT runway and it's pretty dang fast and solid. Doors on each end like Earl's too. See you there! Kick butt until then!! Bubba
