K. Here are some new clips. I didn't completely work on everything everybody told me to because I only had literally a half hour to vault at this practice (which needless to say pissed me off, but what are you going to do). I mainly worked on my severe under-step. I REALLY pushed back my steps from the initial 6 step that I took.. at least a good 5 shoes or so. It measured out to be about 77 feet from a 6 step. Keep in mind I use the LEFTEE grip! So my top hand is my LEFT hand when responding to these!
5th stride, starting to lower pole (I realize it's not completely perpendicular, need to lower it faster perhaps).
Beginning to plant.. something doesn't look right here but I can't put my finger on it.
I think the positioning of my foot is good here, as well as the location of my bottom / right arm. My top / left arm, however, is a bit bent.
Take off. Getting way too close to the pole and failing to keep perpendicular... How do I stop this? Do I need to press out with my bottom / right arm more?
Hips again getting too close to the pole, and my bottom arm is practically behind me.
Trying to invert, but I don't think it's possible because of the former location of my hips.
Pole is beginning to uncoil, and I'm coming up a bit.
Failure to invert causing me to swing towards the mats.
And it's downhill from there.
Well, I tried to give myself a little self-critique, but was wondering what everyone else had to think about it, as always.
A dedicated vaulter with a dream.
