My sophomore year I jumped 12' and my junior year I jumped 13' 6" This year I'm already doing 14' indoors so different people peak at different times. I think the key is just to get better every year so mentally you never think you are peaking out.HOW HIGH

eighth grade-10', frosh-13'6. soph-15'...only jumped 15'8 the next two years because i was helping with coaching long jump, triple jump, and vault-not to mention partying too much. it doesnt matter how quickly you start jumping high-all that matters is how high you jumped in the end. ask hartwig, he did it slowly, but showly.
