I would like to mention this was a very pretty jump and the vaulter is doing a lot of things absolutely correct!
Over the years we have seen ladies using much bigger poles than their weight and we find that
womens' center of mas is in the hips and mens' is in their stomach.
A women can create a bigger pendulum and bending the pole in the swing gives them an advantage over men to use bigger poles than their weight!
IS she using a 150lbs pole now?

I would like to mention this was a very pretty jump and the vaulter is doing a lot of things absolutely correct!

Interesting point. This would imply that girls have to lift their CG further than guys. don't know if the end result is plus or minus.
