I have a few pole bags so it makes it a little bit easier. The 14 and 15 footers in one bag, the 12s and 13s in one and everything else in a smaller one. For protection though I keep the tubes that they come in and put those inside the bags. It keeps our throwers from jeopardizing my equipment. That and I always try to get a bag when purchasing a few poles at once. A lot of companies will throw them in.
What is nice about this sport is that I am responsible for most everything.

Anyone know the guy or vault club that makes the custom bags in Minnesota... post a reply or PM me the numbers or contact info... This is the same club that wraps all the poles yellow (or I so believe) I saw them last year at Hot Springs street vault... If you are on here get in touch with me! Thanks!

Black drainage tubes are the way to go if you travel commercially. that is by airlines or trucking. They offer great protection. If you do not need that. then the bag with a couple (few) carboard tubes will suffice.

Kyle Cleven makes them. He is the pole vault coach at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. They guy you saw, Jamie, is not the one that makes the bags. I'll PM you Kyle's contact info.
