Over this weekend i built a DIY pole vault drill set by tying a horseshoes to a rope and throwing it up and over a tall and sturdy tree branch, then feeding PVC pipe through the rope to simulate a pole and tying it off so one can hang from it. As shown in the youtube vid you can see all the things one can do on it. Probably not the safest thing but pole vault isn't exactly the safest sport in itself.
