i aslo checked "decathlon" and france googles it more than twice any other country and the US isn't even in the top ten...

yes, but try typing in the common misspelling of decathlon--"decathalon"--and USA is 2nd to the UK, so everyone serching for decathlon in the US is simply misspelling it, but at least not as much as the English are.
