last year was my pole was 12 foot and I was planning to go to a 13'6 to warm up for a couple of weeks and then move to my 15'6, still bad idea?

Yes that is a very bad idea. That is too big of a jump, you won't make it in the pit on the 15'6 pole.

I know you are all more skilled an wizened than me but, the top vaulter at my school did it last year as a junior, he wen from the 13'6 pole straight to the 15'6 one, adn Im faster and stronger than him so thats why my coach thinks I can do it, but ill tell him what you guys said.

I tried it on my new pole 15'6 I made it through the vault but I felt that my form was really bad but good thing is I cleared my PR with ease, but I really got to get used to the feel of getting knocked back when I plant.

I'm no expert or anything so i might be wrong but I am pretty sure you shouldn't feel like your getting knocked back at your plant. But I am a girl and I definitely haven't used a 15'6" pole but usually if you are feel like you are getting knocked back it is because you are under. Anyone out there who knows better please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the plant should feel smooth
This year your gonna have to work twice as hard.
