What program do you use to view a .ram video?
Interesting article, but I believe he is mistaken to say that Bubka never won Olympic Gold.

Real Player works with .ram video.

Bubka did win an Olympic Gold, at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He jumped 19'2 1/4" (5.85m) for and Olympic Record at the time.

Yah I noticed it looked very similar, but was hesitant to call BBC a liar. Its hard to tell too because of the poor quality, but I went back and compared it 2 neo vault, and I think its the same 6.01

actually 5.90 19-4 1/4 on his last attempt. otherwise he would have ended up 4th with only a 5.70 clearance.

That's right, Gataulin cleared 19' 2 1/4" He would have won if not for Bubka's 5.90 jump.
