New athletic storage space is also needed. The current storage area is not large enough to house lacrosse equipment, and a few years ago raccoons chewed through the storage unit and damaged the school's pole vault kit, Athletic Director Mike Obsuszt said. A parent funded the $12,000 replacement of the equipment, which is now kept below a school stairwell.
Watch out for those raccoons!
