Mark Rose (former LSU vaulter) Victims of Hurricane Katrina!

I just got an email from Mark Rose and he said that it will be while before they can get back. His brand new Beautiful house is also under water and probably trashed. Mark loves and supports the vault more than anyone I know. He buys pole vault pits and poles for local high schools and Tulane University. He is also the volunteer multi-events and pole vault coach there a Tulane. Mark Always puts Dana and I up in New Orleans and treats us like family. We would go down to Tulane and vault with him and his son Kyle. I was actually going to stay with him this next week to vault with Kyle.
Mark is heading the Times Picayune Website in New Orleans. This is the main source for news in the area.

We are OK and living in Houma, Louisiana.
MArk was coming to the factory to build poles this sept 1st weekend and obviously he is taking care of his family now since the Katrina Hurricane.
I have been in contact with him via email and all is ok with him and his family

Kyle lost his Toyota 4 Runner, but all was fully insured
It's just a pain to get re-build
I've only seen my home via satellite photo.
I cannot call out from Houma. The long distance lines are still down
