Earlier today I was driving back home from central Illinois, and a saw a car with a pole bag strapped beside it. Now with no big meets going on I figured that they were coming back from Gill down in Champaign. They were just cruising along, and I passed them and pulled infront of them. I have a pole vaulting licence plate. After passing a semi, I passed them again, and as a rode by, the driver stuck his had out the window and let out a yell. I did the same back.
I just find it really cool how us vaulters are like no other athletes in that we are like a big family, even during competion.
Any one else have experiences like this?
