My brother makes fun of me alot for my love/obession of track and field and pole vault, but i know its the jealousy factor (he was never interviewed for TV and the newspaper.) People who don't RACE dont understand our love. In our school swimmers and runners we're very close and you would always see runners at waterpolo and swim meets and swimmers at track meets.
Also, no matter what we talk about, it always comes back to a fun track meet we've had, or an inside joke that keeps alive even though we have graduated. I dont think its an obsession, my old track mates are a family, pure and simple.

I used to get very weird looks in class from other students when I would draw pictures of vaulters on my papers. I even had a teacher tell me to stop my pv progression flip book that was developing in one of my notebooks.
