What do you think is a good amount of warmup time for a meet? Obviously you cant just say '15min' since you could have 35 jumpers or you could have 2.
I'm thinking 3min/vaulter.

i usually take 2, maybe three runthroughs...
i think 3 minutes is a good number, but not three minutes straight, because you don't want to just run and do 2-3 jumps right in a row like that.
and also, i think it should be a rule that anybody running back steps needs to do it BEFORE the pit opens for runthroughs. so annoying when you lose out on warmup time because 47 people have to run back their steps, and don't even have the decency to alternate with the people who are actually warming up.

yea, I'm not saying each person has 3 min to make jumps, then they're done. Just a good number to mulitply by (5 jumpers get 15min, 20 get an hour)
And I like that no runback thing

Yeah i hate when people run back. Just know your step for pete's sake. Anyway, i usually take one or two pop ups, find step, then take one or 3 jumps for my warm up. Then of course the run through at my starting hieght

i like taking at least 2 or 3 just regualr old swings
before i vault. then i just go for it. in practice though
i always feel like i need to clear a middle height of
about 9 or 9'6'' before i start (i know it sounds low
but not in my school / for me)
