Shoe launch.

Unread postby OAKPV2004 » Wed Feb 23, 2005 12:23 am

I launched my shoes 21' over the crossbar, I did this by my self. we had a contest but it got ridiculously high. The shoes used an 11'6" 135#. It wiggled a little but it stayed. Then my shoes proceeded to go real high and hit the roof. I put them back on they feel more confident now. we need higher standards now. :dazed: Shoe launching is up there for the greastest second use of a pole.
i think before my days are done.

Take a long somewhat soft pole get a couple of ppl to hold the bottom in place then get someone to pull the end down , put the shoes on then bend the crap out of it... let go and watch it FLY.

Ive been doing some testing indoors, I found a nice 14' 130 caterpole. Can't wait to try it outside.

hold on to the toe of the shoe get a real wide grip and try and bend the pole in the box and let go of the shoe. if you use too big of a pole it comes straight down...

WARNING--- make sure you are aware of what is going on... If you do not the pole could come back and hit u or someone else, almost happened to me when I did it by myself.
