everyone be on the look out for the annual " NO LIMIT POLE VAULT SURF CONTEST"
its a great event, a bunch of vaulters show up, have a surf contest, and everyone usually goes out later for some drinks and food at a near by restaurant.. ITS a great way to meet other vaulters, and a great way of meeting a lot of elite vaulters too! ( the contest shows that everyone is human- they may be able to vault 19 ft. but can they surf????)
Dont surf?? dont be scared, there are always a bunch of people who dont know how to surf there. There is always a bunch of categories. for example- beginner group, girls, longbaord, shortboard, best wipe out, best wave, and overall winner.... It is held in Manhatten Beach every year, so be on the look out for the 2004 surf competition.!!
