I am doing an essay that references the total number of active pole vaulters in the United States and world. Does anybody have a link they can provide with this information? If so it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've seen 25,000 used as the number of high school vaulters in the US, but I think it is higher than that.

I have over 800 WA kids in my database every year, and I know I don't have them all... there have to be over 1000 high schoolers in Washington alone.

25,000 pole vaulters doesn't seem a lot out of the 43620984290684209604 high schoolers that could try it.

wow I went to bed last night thinking the world population was slightly over 6 billion or 6000000000, and I read this evening that not only am I wrong, but the world is being over run by high schoolers of the order of 4*10^19, ahhhhhh

somebody better tell all those high school girls parents to watch out for ACE. :P
