Chicago Bulls Basketball: Pole Vault Half Time Show???

Unread postby Sebes » Tue Jun 24, 2008 11:39 pm

I'm putting together a plan to have a pole vault competition during the half time show at a Bulls game. There's no doubt in my mind that the fans would love watching it, and it would create a lot of hype out there for the PV world.

It would require a raised runway, pits, and vaulters. Do you guys think that it would be feasible? I'm assuming with 2 crews, one for the runway and another for the pits, that we could assemble everything in 10 minutes...and then jump for 10 minutes. I could practice first at a WNBA game!

Good idea. That way if someone screws up, no one will be there to see it...

Very good idea, I think it could work...

How long is halftime? 15 minutes? Man, you better have those logistics planned out well to get a pit out there and removed that quickly.

No time for run throughs either. Make sure you're completely warmed up and ready to go when the time comes. I'm sure the adrenaline will take over anyway ;)
Good luck!

Pretty tough thing to pull off, but pretty awesome if you could do it! We need more things that get the sport out there to the public.
