No, Coach Hood's camps are the only ones I can think of that require helmets. There may be one or two others, but most camps do not require them.

Yeah, Coach Hood insists on helmets. Will not let you vault without one, Period! Anyway you can learn a lot of good things at this camp. but, you really need to pay attention and focus, because it goes fast and their is a lot of critical info that can get lost if your not paying attention. So i'd suggest you take a notepad and after each session write down as much detailed info as you can. It will really help. Good Luck

thats a good idea, i am a pretty good learner especially when it is something as interesting as pv, you can never learn enough of it, but i will definitely write down everything i remember every night

Just try to make those notes as detailed as possible. IE: Coach Hood will talk about the last 3 steps as toe, flat, jump, this is huge, but the way you process this info and describe it is just as important. But, just to let you know if you do not have proper posture and running form you will not be able to do this correctly.
Also, who is your coach, is there a coach Keuhler there

At your HS. I had a buddy I use to vault with who is coaching in Tx at a school that starts with a E, but couldn't recall the name. Just wondering if he was your coach.
