Music at meets

Unread postby GeorgeN » Mon Jul 31, 2006 7:49 pm

thanks for the insight. I belong to OLN so I can watch the international meets and during the high jump and long jump the athletes get to have their favorite song played everytime they are up. I was just wondering if it was only at these internatonal meets. I guess the answer is yes.

thanks

IAAF meets are a different animal.

Just ask any international (IAAF) high jumper or pole vaulter what 5-alive is. Their answer would be what is that. It's not done ever under that rule code. Or to put it a different way, it's not even in their rules to maybe run the event that way.
