up here in minnesota it was like 45 degrees with
30 mph winds...it sucked. We've had a couple days when it was about perfect (65-75 and a small tailwind).

We've had one meet cancelled, and one postponed already.

yeah, here in eastern pa, it was near 80 a couple of days, then today it sucked. rain, wind and cold...and i might be going to an invitational meet tomorrow if it's not raining, if it is, forget it - i'm sleeping in.

Why not, jumping in snow is fun. I remeber this one time it was like 50 degrees sunny...and snowing (gotta love the weird weather in maryland) and we we're jumping in it. It was fun...and quit confusing.

I love vaulting when it is between warm and hot...it really just has to be sunny with a nice little tail wind. I basically love vaulting in the summer when, in Sacramento, it gets to be about 5 pm and the delta breeze starts coming through.

However, yesterday at practice we had a CRAZY tailwind. On a four stride, I had to move my step back two feet. There was a meet for the distance runners going on and the wind totally blew one of the huge metal tents (you know the ones that I am talking about) down to the ground and then dragged it for a good 30 feet until they got control of the mangled mess. A little too strong for my tastes, but it was fun nonetheless.

so the forecast was correct, it did in fact snow at our meet today. it was SO cold, in the low 30s. it was RIDICULOUS!!!
