I happen to have my computer set so that it asks me when a cookie is trying to be placed. I then have to approve it or deny it. Presently I am only allowing cookies from sites I have confidence in, such as PoleVaultPower.com. ;)

Yeah you'd better accept those cookies. How else can I spy on you all?

Hahaha - I KNEW Becca had some evil plot for the webpage. I mean, why else would anyone spend so much time and energy luring in over a thousand people to use her site.... :P

Loved the flash intro! (it helps that I'm a HUGE Rocky fan) - but for some reason the intro only worked in Internet Explorer and not on Mozilla. Maybe I just have an old out of date version, I dunno - just thought I would pass it along.

Tomas -
Really like the page! Must have taken a lot of time and effort to put it all together, now if it were in English! I posted a question but did not get too much help. I'm looking for a silhouette of a vaulter a moment after take off. Much like the 4th pic in Tim Mack's series. Side view, both arms up and overhead, right knee up and toe of left foot just leaving the ground. I need this pic to be of a real vaulter (not a drawing) and it needs to be in silhouette (sort of like your sign one pic) for a special PV award we are making. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I like the opening thing, but I still don't know what language it's in. I'd still give it a  for the pics

Depends really on what you plan on doing with the images. But there are a lot of strings attached. Becca, I technically could grab an image from you, and put it on my site, completely unedited and untouched. Pretty much as long as I say I got it from you, I'm free from any liabilities. Atleast, that's what Bungie said referring to their images.

It's a really touchy subject, I know. I don't want to get that heated debate started again, so I'm shutting up

Not to completly open this topic again but I attended a copyright seminar recently. The second a creative work is completed (ie clicking ths shutter on a camera) the person who took the picture has a copyright on the work (This copyright can only be bipased by a wirten agreement between the arist and consumer). If someone else uses that image for a public use they are infringing on the copyright. The only way this would not apply would be with "fair use" where a work can be used in an educational setting without written agreement .
