World marks for underage pole vaulters

Can anyone tell me what the heighest vault for a 6 year old boy would be. My son comes to training with me and loves to join in, on the weekend he cleared 1.40m. regards Rob

i did jump 6"6' but not in a sactioned meet :(

Thanks for the info. His birthday is on the 15th Sept, will have to see how close he can get before he turns 7.

You might try some performance enhancers. Get um big before the IAAF starts testing

7 year old Ethan Bartolina is a solid 1.75m guy.

...is this the closest any girl has jumped to their age? I thought someone did not long ago???

Yes, that is the closest any girl has. I made a post back in February about Liz almost jumping her age.
