Pole Vault Podcast?

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Wed Jul 20, 2005 1:32 pm

Do you know what a podcast is?

If not, that is OK. Download this MP3 and tell us what you think.

After you listen...
Do you think this is something you would be interested in listening to (if it came out regularly)?
Would you be interested in contributing?

good, because itunes runs like junk on windows computers. you can tell they spent their time/money developing the apple version and not the windows version.

Any program that plays MP3s will be able to play the podcast.

Considering the number of programs that are designed for Windows and run like crap on the Mac, I have no sympathy for you :P

Now now now, we wouldnt want to get into a computer preference argument. Both computers have their specialities. Apple is just more advanced, cooler looking, more compatible, and way way more user friendly.

(you can tell when someone is a pc user when they refer to every computer apple makes as a mac. :) )

the only problems w/ itunes is that you can only rip music at 128 kb/s. thats terrible quality. you can rip at 320 kb/s (which is tollerable) through windows media player...

iTunes on apples converts the file from mp3 to aac. It is more compressed and better quality. For example, on my ipod shuffle, i can fit 512mb. Which is an average 120 songs, in mp3. When the selection is converted to aac, i can fit 20-ish more songs into it. there is aac for you.
