I've personally never been a fan of the carbonated energy drinks. I'm big on the Rockstar Recovery and Monster Rehab... they give me an adequate amount of energy and don't fill up my stomach like the carbonated drinks.

We don't allow athletes at our school to drink/possess energy drinks during school or sports training/events. They're filled with crap and will do more harm than good in the long run.

No offense to Red Bull, I actually like the taste and love the support they have given Hooker. I don't think high schoolers should consume them though.

What was the reasoning for your question if you've already got the answer?

Why don't you tell us the ingredients in coffee and the ingredients in Red Bull.

Probably 99.9% of them contain NCAA banned substances. So wouldn't get too dependent on drinking them at meets.

hello

what athletes are seemingly not understanding about ANY /MOST " energy supplements" is if it causes you to burn "more'" oxygen, it will ultimately affect your performance and your bodies system in a "negative" way.

Caffeine, doses of sugar, alcohol… etc
