Don't reveal your email address on PVP!

I've noticed that some of you posters sometimes put your email address right in your posts.

Be aware that there's hundreds (maybe thousands) of email harvesting "crawlers" that search PVP (and every other public forum) for emails EVERY DAY.

In non-tech talk, this means that criminals will find your email address and use it to send spam to you - FOREVER!

Before I switched to my present email service provider, I made the mistake of posting my email somewhere on a public forum (not PVP). The resultant spam was so bad that I finally had to switch - my provider was unable to stop it.

The best answer is to simply pass emails thru PM (Private Message) only.

Otherwise, you could end up on many annoying spam lists! FOREVER!

For a similar reason, I don't think it's fair to post someone else's email without their permission.
