school related question. need help

ok heres the deal
i wanna major in something like excersize sciences. im takin anatomy/physiology , trig/precalc., physics, rel, eng for sure. now should i do latin 2, or phsychology and gov/econ.. i hvae to take gov/econ in order to be able to take psychology. also because i have 2 sciences i also have 2 labs, the labs cut into my lunch, or a study hall if i have one, if i take latin ill have a study hall, if i take psy i wont. and for latin, i have all the tests adn answers for my class hehe. but i heard psychology is easy as well.. so whihc do u all think would be a better choice

also wat do u all think of that major?. excersize and sports sciences

are you already in college or still in high school? If you aren't in college yet, then nothing will really HELP you with your major per say, because you are going to have to take all those classes once you get into school. But if you want to do exercise science, I would take the psychology over the latin....Unless you need it for a requirement or a college entrance requirement, in which case take the language.

Even though I really don't know much, I'm going with Vault&Flip. It really depends on if you need that second language as a requirement to get into college or not. All the state colleges in my area (and I'm sure a lot of the private ones too) require atleast 2 language classes

But takin latin will help with anything science, specially if u want to be a sport therapist or the like. I would recommend lots of math, like Calc AB or BC (Im in pre-med and gettin slammed with math) and some HARD pyschics. Finally, do not take pych. usually it is a BS class and you will still need to take it for college and it is almost nothing like it is in high school.

What schools only require 2 years of a language?? Schools in virginia generally require a minimum of 4 years. You have to take at least 3 to graduate from high school. So I most certainly would not say "most colleges" require only 2 years, in fact, I would expect it to be the opposite.

Take the Latin. It not only will help with future science/anatomy classes, but it's the best foreign language to take if you want to polish your english skills. I think it had a lot to do with me getting into and surviving med school.

I'm sure a certain lawyer would agree.

sorry, i miss spoke, most high school (well here in maryland) require 2 years to graduate, however, i applied to many california school in which they said 4 years is "strongly recommended" which, is basically sayin its required i guess. Then again, Maryland public school only require 3 years on math too, and our public schools suck (lack of vaulting for one, i went to private), so i guess my state is weird like that.

I didn't mean to jump on your case, as I realize every school is different. I think it's pretty much a common college thing to require 4 years of a language now, so if you don't come in with 4 you are required to take language once you get to school. Although, there are a few schools that make you take a placement exam and then see how many years of language you actually have to take. Every school is different, check out the requirements for your high school and the college's you might be interested in and then make the best choice.

woo thanx for the advise. im in hs still. the thign is im a jr, i took 2 yrs of spanish, and 1 yr of latin so far. and theres no way im gonna take spanish agian. the teacher i had for my first 2 yrs was sooo hard i would of failed if she graded normal. she wouldnt write down a grade on a test anything lower than a 60. heh..
also dont u th ink that for psychology, since i have to take it in college prob, wouldnt it like introduce me to the course to make it easier?. iunno. i kno both choices i can take are all easy classes .

wow...MO's standards must be pretty low then...lol...i don't think my high school requires ANY foreign language to graduate(maybe it requires two, but i don't remember, since i know i have all requirements i need...after junior year, i needed exactly 1 credit to graduate...), and most colleges in the state only require two units, some require three...now, whatever it is, doesn't matter to me, because i'll have 5 lol :-D (I took spanish 1 in 8th grade, now am in spanish V as a senior)
