Hopefully by now you have all heard about the terrible distaster in south asia. If you haven't, go check out cnn.com or any other news site and educate yourself.

If everyone takes the time to donate a little bit of money to the Red Cross, it certainly would go a long way. https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation-form.asp

There is much to be done in both short and long terms for Sri Lanka to raise its head from this blow from the seas. Among other things, the country needs to improve its technical and communications facilities so that effective early warnings can help minimise losses in future disasters.
